talented and creative people that not only share my longing for storytelling, but also love for the Lord with all their hearts. It’s the kind of group you want to hang around and just talk ideas with. There are animators that work for Cartoon Network and Disney. There are free-lance artists, sculptors, writers and computer graphic geniuses. There are even a couple of sharp business men that try to help us make sense of everything we talk about because, if not for them, we would get nothing accomplished. We would enjoy doing it, but it would never get done. We all work in different parts of Southern California and are as busy as can be. When we do talk, we feel the possibilities are wide open; thus the name, Wide Open Productions.
Wide Open Productions, in my opinion, has just scratched the surface of its potential and we are all putting our heads together in hopes of producing some fantastic visual materials in the near future. Designing, creating and presenting Johnny Lazarus to the world is just the tip of the iceberg. The first book, Johnny Lazarus in The Legend of Frogfinger, is finished and selling. We are proud of it, but don’t want to stop there. We hope to bring this book and many more projects in the works, to life sometime in the near future through animation and other mediums.
I look forward to watching these guys bring Frogfinger to life!
